::Birds Isle Restaurant..great food but horrible service!!!! We were only on the island from a cruise and only had a few hrs. Our waitress was so freaking slow..we were there when they opened. 8 tables had their food before us. She brought our appetizer out after we were almost done with our meal. Almost an hour before we got our food

::This is the worst customer service for an establishment that is suppose to be assisting customers and guests! They never answers calls even though it rings. They have become just like other Goverment offices that doesnt care about the people. Definitely not satisfied with their service!

::The random selection for a second security check is not random at the Philip S.W. Goldson Intl Airport. It is a targeted procedure to separate customers from their valuables. This practice must be addressed and terminated. It is imperative that all visitors feel safe and respected in your country. They don't want to leave there knowing that they have been victimized by airport employees who are representatives of Belize.

::I did not go through BTB to book my trip to Belize, and I deeply regret it. I was assaulted by an unlicensed tour guide named Hector Amirk Ramirez (a.k.a. "Amir"). I called BTB to report what happened to me. They referred me to Mr. Blease, who very quickly opened an investigation and came to a resolution to keep tourists safe. I can't thank Mr. Blease enough for his help. For safety and security, I highly recommend booking through BTB. They are very thorough in their vetting process and they truly care about tourists.

::As a tourist that has been traveling to lovely Belize the last eight years, I have to admit it is becoming more and more difficult to oversee and ignore the lack or efficiency, poor technology, lack of professionalism/manners, and basic air conditioning...at the Belize Airport. I will not get into the many lacks that the whole country has on this post out of respect to the government in charge, but an airport is the most basic country amenity available. An international airport into that country always gives me a glimpse on what I might experience. The Belize "International" airport would qualify as one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my 40+ years of experience, 45 country experience. I have probably landed in BZE airport about 20+ times. Not only does the airport have so many flaws, but it looks like everyone just turns a blind eye to everything. Many tourists that are in that line (which was over 2 hours) were saying they would never be back just because of the 8 custom agents trying to efficiently take several hundred PAPER custom forms, sign them, check them off, stamp the passport, fill some more paperwork without ANY COMPUTERS - for each tourist. Or, of course, facial recognition camera. What a waste of everyone's time. But of course, the air conditioning is not available until you get very close to the booths. On my last few times to Belize, the tourists have been very patient, but they always talk about how they will not return. Of course, after waiting 1 or 2 hours or maybe 2.5 hours (like this last trip), almost all the agents we usually encounter are pretty rude or non-professional. I have been to many other smaller, less fortunate countries that welcome tourists with open arms and go out of their way to make the experience a pleasant, efficient experience. I ask myslef, why is that not the case here in Belize? Please invest in this country. Make it a bit more efficient. It will grow so much faster and bring even more growth and wealth for the people. I know this review will not make much difference or any decision on the future of the airport/other areas but I would be doing a huge disservice to my heart by not voicing what I feel...because I care so much about this beautiful country...and I want only the best for the people here and for tourist to fall in love with Belize, like we have.
