Lovely and friendly family! Small village with a few grocery stores and local places to eat (cash only). However, we found that the price was too high for pitching our own tent in a backyard (20 USD). They offer hot shower, towels and drinking water but, in comparison, we paid 30USD for a motel room with AC in both Orange Walk and Belmopan. In the beginning the owner said 10USD for pitching a tent (and we assumed that’s the total). But once we walked around, chatted and were ready to settle, she said it is 10 USD per person and not per tent. Everywhere we go it is a common practise to charge per room or per tent and not per person.

This is an awesome place to stay!! The whole family is so nice and I made some great memories there. They made sure I never ran out of things to do and I got to know Belize and the locals. There are two little shops in walking distance. You can visit Altun Ha or go bird watching. The whole place is very clean and you feel very welcomed. You can also built up your tent in the garden if you're looking for a budget friendly option. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to get to know Belize and their locals.

Best place to stay!!! Feels like home! The family is very welcoming, they are special people that work in this beautiful place with love in every detail. Me and my boyfriend camped there, we enjoyed a few days in a pleaceful place. The bathroom is clean, the food is delicious and they offer typical belizean food. So, it is a great opportunity to stay close to Belize City paying a cheaper price than in the city in a beautiful and quiet place, besides being able to have a cultural experience with a belizean family. Super recommend!!!
