::Dive bar, be careful, they ripped us off. Only good thing is the location. The regulars made me feel very uneasy.

::It’s your local bar for fisherman and any visitor who wish to experience the Belize culture. They sell cheap Belikin beer and have friendly staff that will talk to you and answer questions about the area
August Wheeler
::We stopped in here for a beer and it was a much needed break from the tourist scene of the cruise ships. Great service and nice people along with some of the coldest beers in town

::Everything about this place is legitimately Belize. Superb local cuisine filled with local customers. Excellent beer, food, and employees. They even took our son to see the workings of the kitchen and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We'll probably stop by and eat again on the way out.

::It’s not the Ritz Carlton. This place is authentic, like House of Cards BBQ spot Kevin’s character sought out to remind him of home. This place is the locals choice for traditional plate lunches. Great chicken and rice and sausage and bean dishes. Think we spent $12 for two lunches and a Belikin beer. Not your place if you like linen napkins or clean floors. Not a kid friendly place, as there’s some career alcoholics who frequent this spot too. Water front dining, see pelicans, boats and maybe a manatee! No A/C. Was open, although Google Maps says the Bucket Bar is closed; October 2023
