::A superior rustic lodge experience with great guides, good food, and excellent activies. Guests would be advised to bring a small Flashlight to help with dinner time walking between the cabins and the dining room.

::I had the perfect time at Lamanai Outpost Lodge!!! The lodge itself was beautiful, the ride down the river to get there was an adventure in itself and the food was incredible! To top it all off, I had my very own guide, Lucio, and it made me feel very special. Lucio was perfect and very knowledgeable in the flora, fauna, history, archeology of the area. He spent time talking about and showing me the topics I was interested in which was basically everything! Thank you Lamanai Outpost Lodge for the perfect stay!! The only thing I regret is my stay wasn’t long enough. And thank you Lucio for sharing your wonderful knowledge of the area and country. I will be back and will recommend this place to my friends.

::My family (me, my husband, two kids (9 and 11), my sister, brother-in-law and niece (15)) had a fabulous stay at Lamanai Outpost Lodge over the holiday break. Since my husband is a big birder, we requested a guide who is knowledgeable about birds, and we got their best! His ability to find and identify bird is second to none. Having grown up in the neighboring village, Eduardo was also knowledgable about the culture and history of the area, and always happy to share -- even introducing us to his family! We did an all-inclusive adventure package for three of the nights, and did several of their special adventures for the additional two days. We loved ALL of the adventures -- from birding the Savannah, to visiting the nearby Mayan ruins, to participating in a crocodile research project, to canoeing on the river, to visiting both the Mennonite and local Belizean villages. We couldn't have asked for a more enriching and fun vacation. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food and service were wonderful, and the whole Lamanai team was top notch! I also want to commend the kitchen staff for taking such great care with a few food sensitivities. There we always great dairy and gluten free options available. If you are looking for an authentic experience off the beaten tourist path, full of interesting activities and beautiful nature, Lamanai Outpost Lodge is the perfect place to spend your vacation in Belize.

::Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we loved the boat ride there. Their guides seem very knowledgeable and there is plenty of wildlife even on the lodge's premises. Its also great that you can use their canoes any time and set off by yourself. There is also a swimming dock, but the water is quite warm. We found the fans in the cabin to work very well. The ruins are within walking distances or you can go by boat.
