I went for the Mayan Experience, and it was amazing. I found it to be very moving. The staff were all extremely friendly, and I think the price was fair. I want to come back with more friends!

INCREDIBLY friendly staff (especially David) in a quiet and quaint location that's not far from town. It can be hard to find and the road in is a bit rough, but otherwise we had a good stay for the most part (only real issues were the interney reliability and some small room concerns). I will say I wouldn't describe it as a "5 star resort" as termed here, but it is certainly a great affordable alternative to the mega-resorts and the staff are great.

Nice little place that was really cozy. Its off the beat and path, but quick ride in golf cart will take you where ever you would like. Beautiful scenery around the resort.

I’m writing this review a few weeks after my visit. I had an amazing time because of the staff. From the lady who cleaned for us, the evening security guard, owner (Lorraine) and David the front desk Manager. Everyone was very kind, and present complete hospitality. We came in slow season but they were still prepared for us. The pool area is very calming. Hotel sits on the me water so you are constantly surround by water all day, complete nature. However the small drawback is the little distance away to get to the rest of the island you must rent a golf cart. They will have it delivered to the hotel and you can explore wherever from there. Great experiment, definitely would upgrade to the room with kitchen, and personal pool to have a better experience and it’s totally worth it really!

I was offered a free room upgrade, which really made my stay wonderful and a bonus to have a kitchen area, as without a golf cart, you have a walk to the gate. Located out of town over the water. My bungalow faced mangroves and had plenty of bird life. I was able to arrange a bicycle hire, which meant the main area wasn't far. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink was available all day (at the bar or restaurant onsite) and the bungalow had drinking water and coffee provided. Enjoyed watching the fish through the glass floor. Only thing missing for me was a place to put items next to the bed, but I just used an upside bin.
