::Ac didn't work properly. Toilet didn't flush number #2 down correctly. We had cockroaches in our room. We only stayed for a night, changing the room didn't make sense and when asking for a partial refund it was declined. We paid 50 USD / 100 Belize dollars. Not worth the price.

::I stayed at the Mirador Hotel in Corozal for a total of 10 days. The location is great and the rooms are decent, but unfortunately, my experience with customer service left a bad impression. I informed the manager/owner ahead of time that I’d be taking the 5:00 PM flight on my last day and asked if I could leave my bags there until then. She agreed, but said I needed to bring them down before the late checkout cutoff at 1:00 PM. Due to back-to-back meetings, I wasn’t able to return until around 2:45 PM to pack and grab my things — just under 2 hours past the time. Despite staying there for over 10 nights, she insisted I pay for an additional full night. In my opinion, that’s a clear example of poor customer service and rigid, nickel-and-dime policies that don’t take long-term guests or context into account. Would I stay again? Probably not. There are plenty of other local places that value loyal guests and understand a little flexibility goes a long way.

::This place desperately needs an infusion of cash. Rooms are just weird, a 12 inch step up to the bathroom from the main room. The toilet seat refused to stay up and would come down randomly with a loud bang. The parking area has an electric gate that was broken so you had to push with all your might to open and close it. All the doors were sticky and difficult. We would not stay there again. Having said that, the PEOPLE are wonderful. Whatever the owners have to pay to keep these gems, pay it.

::The bed was horrible. At one point I wondered if the tile floor might actually be more comfortable. I cancelled our stay after the first night. I was told the mattresses were all new a mere six months prior. Actually, she said the mattresses were bought new in March. She never said which year, though. We were not refunded our money (paid for 3 nights) but rather given a voucher for two nights only to find out the voucher expires after three months!

::Dirty linen. Horrible lumpy pillows. Fan in room didn't work , when I told reception she just pointed at one there and told.me to take that one. I would usually expect the staff to sort it out not for me to struggle up the steps with a large fan. I was greatful.for it though. Bed old and squeaky. Paint peeling everywhere. No fridge in room. Ugly curtains doesn't keep light out. Small poky bathroom. Tiny towels but they were at least soft and clean. Low cost bottom.of the barrel. Will rather spend more next time as this one I surely got what I paid for. One nice thing they had off road private secure parking.
