Delicious. My wife had the grilled lobster and I had the coconut curried crab. Both were great but be warned the curried crab is a dish not to be eaten in your best clothes. Omar's isn't the least bit fancy but is typical of Placencia's open air beach town vibe.

Neat, clean open air, lots of fans but we went in the evening. Only one waitress, took her too long to get back for drink orders. THE BEERIS COLD! The fish n’ chips were good. Coulda used a bit more fries. Ok for $13 US. The lobster tail was tough, chewy, overcooked in my opinion. And the rice was boring. But the slaw was tasty. Not worth $35 US. If we try it again I’ll update the review.

This restaurant has a great chef and bad waitress. The food (fish tortillas and curry chicken, two cocktails) was real nice. There is enough space, not a long waiting time, good athmosphere. But really the beautiful looking girl behaves very uninterested. Asking how the food is and turning around before you can answer...

We spent months looking for a good place to eat on our 2-hour stop at Placencia, and this place caught our eye. The price was great for seafood. The food was good too. The drinks were delish!! Great little spot to try food from belize! The only downfall is that it's an outside spot and it's very, very hot. The waitresses were rude and look very bothered to help a big group, but they got all our food correct. So they definitely got a good tip. I would recommend you make a stop here if ever in Placencia Belize

We were recommended this place from our excellent hosts, Gail and Paul! It didn't disappoint. The seafood was fresh, and spices made your taste buds dance. We ordered conch fritters, and they were fresh and tender. We had some other places here, and theirs were on another level. The portions are huge, and it was only 55.00 USD. We each had drinks and the 3 seafood platters. They were also nice enough to offer to cook whatever we catch after we get back from deep sea fishing.
