  We arrived by water taxi, and the hotel was only a few minutes’ walk away – very convenient if you have heavy luggage. Reception is in a small building in front of the main one, and it doesn’t seem to be staffed all the time. Our room was a good size and included a kitchenette with a sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fridge (though no cooker). As we only stayed a couple of nights, we didn’t need room service, but it’s available on request. The island itself is small and easy to explore on foot. There’s a restaurant/bar directly opposite the hotel where the music usually stops around 11 pm. For breakfast, I recommend trying House of Jack’s, just a short walk to the left of the hotel. Overall, a pleasant stay, and I would be happy to return.

  The owner is an excellent lady and a gracious host. Would highly recommend. And Gizmo (the host puppy) is the fun little security guard. :)

  Well, Melanie and her partner are super nice people - couldn't have asked for better hosts. Melanie was constantly asking us daily if we needed housekeeping and new towels. The rooms themselves were spotless, and pretty big. They have everything you need. The location of the property is spot on, and within walking distance to everything on the island. Thank you again

  Melanie and her family were amazing, catering to our every need. The location is very central, just around the corner from the ferry terminal and a short walk to the split. Our room was extremely clean and housekeeping is available daily. It was also well equipped with plates, dishes and cutlery; a microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee maker, which suited us perfectly. This was worth every penny and is an ideal place to stay in Caye Caulker. Thank you Melanie.

  Location was fairly central, clean bathroom with hot water, friendly staff. No glass windows just metal shutters and screening allowed a lot of noise in especially when there is a live band in the bar next door. Layout of the room was slightly strange. All in all good for the price. Better if you plan on staying out late
