  Have to say out of all the resorts, this one is the best. Amazing service, absolutely gorgeous views, Great staff as well. The Placencia pieced this whole trip together. Best Resort you can experience in Placencia!

  This was rated to be a Hyatt hotel but it was far from it. The construction on the property was noisy, food was bland, WiFi almost nonexistent and not secure, and the amenities such as the gym and tennis court were broken and moldy. Also the key card kept glitching multiple times as did the safe lock. The complimentary shuttle was actually $150 and the complimentary laundry was $20. So just know you are paying out of your nose like crazy. The shower barely had any pressure. The staff was helpful and kind, but unfortunately, this is not a place I would come back to. It’s also honestly a scam it was marketed as a top tier Hyatt resort when it definitely was not.

  Room was ok; head and footboard needed securing, remote needed new batteries and to be programmed, our key wasn’t programmed, & we didn’t have hot water, only lukewarm showers. If we hadn’t already had reservations for 2 days, we would’ve gone elsewhere. Pool was nice. Too expensive for what we received.

  Room was just ok. Quality and finish were about what you'd expect at that price point. But, the main unit was not stocked well at all. There weren't even teaspoons for the coffee. And the kitchen dishes and utensils were really low stock for an entire group sharing all three units. Our shower also would fill up did a clogging down in the pipes I assume. Really nice staff and the grounds were clean and well kept. But the room left a bit to be desired. I wonder if this differs based on the owner.

  Stayed here 2 nights and it was wonderful! The grounds and landscaping are immaculate and the pool is enormous. While here there were very few guests so it often felt like we had the place to ourselves! So peaceful and relaxing! The service was amazing, everyone was so kind. We ate at the hotel restaurant and every meal we had was delicious! The rooms are a bit dated but were incredibly clean and they had AC! We were told they were recently bought by Hyatt so I would love to come back see what the rooms look like remodeled!
