::Tranquility, nature, beach, seclusion and service I can’t wait to get back. I loved this place. It’s peaceful and very tranquil. If you are looking for a boutique resort with an absolute gorgeous atmosphere and a great staff, this is it. It feels like you are staying in the jungle, away from all the hustle and bustle but still in the middle of town. The location is excellent, everything you need is walkable. The architecture of the rooms and the cleanliness of the whole resort are wonderful. The restaurant at their sister resort, Villa Abrazos next door was phenomenal. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in the last 6 months of all my travels. It is a must do. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, beach and a secluded place to stay, thats in the middle of town, this is it!

::We stayed at Xanadu for a week and had a great time. My wife was doing some research on places to stay in San Pedro and we narrowed it down to a couple of resorts. We wanted a place that was reasonably priced and had good reviews. We are not the type of people who care about all-inclusives, so we did not care that Xanadu did not offer breakfast. There were various places nearby where we could grab something to eat. The fully stocked kitchen also made it very easy to get ingredients at the supermarket and cook for ourselves if we felt like it. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I started e-mailing them with requests to book activities and all sorts of questions practically from the day we booked 3 months before our trip. They always answered promptly and with helpful information. During our stay they were equally helpful and responsive to our needs. While there is no restaurant onsite we were able to order food from a nearby restaurant and the staff picked it up for us while we enjoyed the pool. The hotel room was spotless and it was cleaned every day. The grounds were also maintained; they raked the sand multiple times a day, cleaned the pool and hot tub, and dealt with any sargassum that washed up. We also liked the fact the Xanadu was a little bit outside the center of town so it was always quiet and calm. We went during the low season and the downtown area still felt overwhelming, we were delighted to have Xanadu as a refuge. We will not hesitate to stay at Xanadu again on a future trip!

As a solo traveler staying for a week, I felt right at home. I booked the dive package and couldn't recommend it more. Xanadu's location is unbeatable, with spacious, beautifully kept rooms and lush surroundings. One of the absolute highlights? The dive shops pick you up directly from the dock on the property—just steps from your room! It made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. If you're looking for a serene escape with top-notch service and world-class diving, Xanadu is the perfect choice.

::What a relaxing location! We stayed here for our 8 year wedding anniversary and loved it! Safe, quiet, comfortable, ideal location and THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! The staff went out of their way to find us a french press for coffee, they always greeted us with a smile, and gave fantastic recommendations for dinner. We went on two guided fishing trips while here, arranged snorkeling through Xanadu, fished from the dock and rented our cart from the hotel. We loved the jungle feel Xanadu has with the tree growth and shade while relaxing by the pool or front ocean side. Worth paying more for an ocean view- it’s just breathtaking! Thank you Xanadu staff- we’ll be back!
