  Abezza is so many experiences wrapped into one piece of land, hosted by a very special family. Just getting there was part of the adventure, and when the gates opened, I knew I was in for something special. The jungle shaped everything that was added to the grounds—the way the dwellings and paths flow naturally, the art tucked into unexpected places, and the creators deep commitment to sustainability. It’s whimsical, creative, and clearly a labor of love and care. My room was lush, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful details. The food, organic—prepared and served with care—was so good! I loved meandering around the property where I discovered the yoga shala, meditation hut, the "Jungle Jim", and so many more unexpected gems. I hope to return someday to this magical place and all it held for me!

  Melanie Melanie Melanie, that is the name everyone should know when staying at Abezza, a place of paradise!! From the food, to the people employed there everything was freaking amazing!! We got lucky it was just me and my little family of three, and were treated with such kindness and even got great advice! You get amazing excursions and learn more about Belizean history and every day life. This place was absolutely top tier beautiful and felt like home! To top it off, everything on the menu was delicious and the plants and animals were just vibrating with peace!! Absolutely loved our time there and loved Melanie! Looking forward to coming back!

  Although very very far outside of everything this place and my stay was awesome. I am a picky eater so food wasn't a big hit for me i ate the same thing. On to service being it was our first time we needed other eats aside from the resorts itself and so you can imagine the reaction lol not much help there that was my only negative experience. Aside from that it was amazing so quiet peaceful I love my peace I did the mud massage an awesome experience the rinse off in the tub outside o felt like royalty definitely recommend

  We just wrapped up our third magical stay at Abezza, and honestly, it gets harder to leave every time. Tucked deep in the Belizean jungle, this serene, art-filled resort is unlike anywhere else we’ve ever stayed. From the moment you arrive, you're wrapped in a peaceful stillness—far from the noise of city life, work stress, or even other people. With only about 20 villas on the property, you’ll never feel crowded, and the personalized attention from the staff is truly exceptional. The villas themselves are beautifully decorated and thoughtfully spaced out, surrounded by jungle greenery and winding paths lined with sculptures, statues, and art installations. The entire resort lights up in the evening with warm, colorful lighting that makes nighttime walks feel magical. It’s a place where you can really unplug—but if you need it, the WiFi is solid. Abezza is family-owned and run by Melanie and Nicky, two of the kindest, most knowledgeable hosts we’ve ever met. They’re not just running a resort—they’re sharing a piece of their dream with guests, and it shows in everything from the attention to detail in the rooms to their genuine interest in helping you plan your stay, whether it’s airport transport, jungle adventures, or quiet relaxation. And the food—wow. Every meal felt like a private, romantic dinner in paradise. Everything is locally sourced and beautifully plated, often with fresh hibiscus blossoms. Do not miss their house-made mango/papaya habañero hot sauce—it’s out of this world. There are pools and hot tubs scattered around the resort, offering quiet places to soak and unwind. We also treated ourselves to a couples massage at their spa and it was one of the most relaxing experiences we’ve ever had. When most people think “Belize vacation,” they imagine the Cayes and crowded beach resorts—but this is something else entirely. Abezza gives you the chance to connect with nature, with your partner, and with yourself. We already can’t wait to come back.

  The most beautiful vacation I've ever been on was started here. After getting off our long plane ride, you were greeted by the nicest driver. The ride from the airport to the resort is also a blast, the driver will point out all sorts of structures and animals and plants. Being greeted at the resort is my favorite part. They bring you a complementary drink and depending when you arrive, will have food available. The FOOD is my second favorite part, try EVERYTHING. Hot water and air conditioning was my biggest concern, I had no reason to worry, we had both! Every other day room cleaning and kind maids. Gloria and Sandy are the kindest most proficient waitstaff I've ever met. Melanie is more of a friend to us now more than anything, but she is a wonderful host as well. We will be returning whenever we can.
