::⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stopped into Aboveground Coffee Shop in Placencia and treated myself to a caramel macchiato and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had here in Belize. Perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth with just the right touch of sweetness. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Mariela and her colleague were absolutely exceptional. They were warm, attentive, and asked just the right questions to make sure my order was spot on. Their friendliness and professionalism turned a simple coffee stop into a truly memorable visit. If you’re in Placencia and looking for amazing coffee paired with genuine hospitality, Aboveground is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

::Delicious cold brew, iced coffee and fresh juices. The woman who runs it, Sabina, is so lovely and makes drinks with love. Guatemalan coffee available for purchase plus some great local jams and soaps. Cute treehouse vibes!

::We stopped in at this delightful spot after and a lovely walk. It was a very hot day and we saw the menu with interesting and unique cold brew tea options which piqued our interest. I ordered the hibiscus brew and my boyfriend had the passion fruit jasmine. We sat upstairs on the very pretty verandah. It felt like we were in a tree house. The drinks were so refreshing and flavourful. The service was super friendly. Highly recommend this cute place in Placencia village.

::Love this place! I came here every day during my trip to Placencia. The family who makes the coffee is wonderful and the space is very cute. Coffee is delicious. They have WiFi and seating areas on a balcony and back porch. They also have a few souvenirs for sale.
