  Becky and Robert are great hosts. Robert could write the history of Crooked Tree with his wonderful stories of growing up there. Becky’s food is to die for! They have created such a nice bird habitat you will see plenty of them

  We just stayed for 1 night but had a fabulous experience. Becky and Robert were welcoming and friendly. Our boys quickly befriended them. They arranged us a sunset cruise locally and we returned to an amazing home cooked meal of chicken and rice. Breakfast the next morning was as delicious with second helpings of pancakes for the boys! A lovely setting, lots of birds and wildlife. Room was spacious (family room, 3 beds). Thank you!

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here at Beck’s B&B! Our room was very large, with a walk-in closet, small desk, table, spacious bathroom (with two sinks), and a refrigerator . Our hosts helped greatly with arranging several tours: one to the Lamani ruins, and the other a really nice late afternoon boat / birding tour on the lagoon with an excellent bird guide. The house is absolutely beautiful , and so are the many plants. The food here is absolutely fantastic : we had three dinners here, and each was excellent! Birding: as it is very hot here; we found that the best times to walk around were early morning and late afternoon. We saw Yucatán Jay, several types of Orioles, Melodious Blackbird, Acorn Woodpecker, Great Kiskadee, Tropical Kingbird, Social Flycatcher, and many others (often while pairs of raucous Parrots flew by).

  Becky and Robert are lovely hosts who have made a quiet, bird friendly place to enjoy. No amenities were left off, and the food was killer! We appreciate their willingness to organize a ferry despite flood waters. we're so happy we took a leap despite the hiccup. Already sharing the place with friends so they can check off dozen of bird species.

  Beck's Bed and Breakfast almost defies description... to avoid making a huge understatement, I'll use adjectives: exclusive, amazing, incredible, awesome, beautiful, warm, inviting... having said that, our stay at Beck's was extraordinary.! Robert and Becky, the proprietors, are the most wonderful, gracious hosts. The little hamlet of Crooked Tree Village is beautiful and charming. Having been there, I so much better understand some of the prior reviews! We had come from 8 days on the water sailing the beautiful waters of Belize. We were exhausted! We had no trouble finding the place, as Robert came and picked us up at the marina (an hour away). So much better than a taxi! Robert and I shared conversation for the entire ride. It was delightful to learn so much about Belize and the Crooked Tree Village. The B&B is in the middle of a cashew tree "forest." We had some of the finished cashews, and they were incredible. We even enjoyed the huge frog that joined in the dining room in the evening. Since we were at Beck's in the off season, we had the place to ourselves. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The B&B is very up to date, modern, but has the feel of old Spanish villa. Impeccably maintained, well-groomed grounds, and fresh flowers and plants everywhere, including in our room. And, the birds... so many different kinds, which we learned a lot about from Becky and Robert. We had breakfast every morning, freshly prepared by Becky and Robert. Healthy and delicious too! Fresh coffee and juice too. We even got to pick the time! LOL We had dinner one evening prepared by the hosts and it was delicious as well. For the value received the B&B is very reasonably priced. The stay was delightful. We even used the pool one afternoon. Thank you Becky and Robert, you made us feel like part of your family! We highly recommend Beck's Bed and Breakfast. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth the time and effort to get there... you'll love your time there!
