  Tried on two separate days with US Charles Schwab debit card and it just gave error without giving any proper reason! And also, why do people have so many good things to say about Hopkins, it's just a sleepy ghost town and why are public forums not talking about the Sargassum and ugly beach seaweed here. Venting complete!! Ready to be back home

  For amounts over $80BZD, it will dispense $50 and $100 bills, so just keep that in mind if you're trying to take out a bunch of 20's. The building requires a card with a magnetic stripe to access, and is air conditioned.

  Staff at my hotel said that it usually works well (except second Tuesday of the month?) I went around 9pm on a Saturday and had no issues. It seems it has been updated since the older reviews. It is now the style that only the chip half of your card is inserted, so it can't really "eat" it

  Worked fine for us. We read about the problem of the machine not working when the receiptpaper was empty, this is fixed, we could still get cash after the message of the empty paper. The host of our hostel warned us, after the machine gives your cash, it asks if you need to do another transaction. If you wait too long, your card can get swallowed.

  This machine is constantly out of money or down. Also if it is out of receipt paper it won't work and hundreds of complaints have been filed with Ɓelize Bank and they refuse to do anything àbout it. Next closest machine is 40 minutes away in Dangriga and has long lines. There is an Atlantic Bank machine in Placencia about 50 minutes away however there is no need to drive to Dangriga or Placencia. You can go to the Chinese store called Fi Wi Mart or the one called Happy and they will give you money off your card if you buy something. They are generally very nice about it.
