  My Daughter and I spent Christmas day diving with BDE. From the moment their boat picked us up from our cruise ship, the entire crew was nothing but pleasant and professional. Our divemaster Emmanuel was outstanding; he clearly loves what he does (he even "geeked out" with us, trading dive stories and giving us tons of info about the region)! We enjoyed two spectacular dives with Emmanuel - both were organized with great communication. Our captain Francois was super friendly, welcoming us to Belize as if we were guests visiting his home! The remainder of the crew were also constantly helping in every way possible throughout the entire trip. I would gladly book with BDE again... Hopefully if/when we get a chance to get back to Belize to dive the "Blue Hole"!

  Horrible experience , very ignorant staff . I asked for more weights because the 1st dive I kept floating to the top and I was having a heck of a time staying down. Well one of the staff (older man with goatee ) decided I didn’t need 2-4lbs extra weight and kept shaking his head at the guy to not give me extra weight , so I turned to the man and told him he is very ignorant, and that he doesn’t know me or how I dive. The first dive, our leader was moving too slow and checked our gauges 3 times . But the 2nd dive he was going too fast, and missed everything, one of the other girls had to keep pointing out to him the shark, turtle, etc. and he only checked our gauges once at the beginning . So when I was getting low to 1,500 I had to tell my partner like hey let’s start heading back, but then another girl told the leader she was low 1,000 psi and he decided we were gonna go up and do 3 minute safety stop Overall was just a lack of communication, after the first dive we stopped at a sand bar to swim but nobody had explained this and when I went up to ask what was going on , all I got was ignorant remarks back . I wouldn’t book this tour company again. I was told the company was called Belize Dive Excursions but I cannot find this company or any info online.

  Diving with Belize Dive Excursions from Carnival Cruise Ship organized excursion - Two tank dive and they pick you up direct from the anchored ship. Decent sized boat but quite a long ride to the dive site "Mini Elbow" and "Playground" Good snacks provided, always a nice touch Quality rental equipment included
