  Stayed in Baby Blue cabana and we were in love. It's small and cosy but has a fully functional kitchenette. It's got a nice porch with lounge chair and a hammock. The windows can't close, but that's par for the course with all of the non-resort housing options we encountered in Belize and frankly, we loved hearing all of the sounds of the ocean and it really helped us unplug. No need for AC in a place like this, the ocean's right there! If you can't handle it go stay in a hotel. The groundskeeper and owner of the property were very responsive and friendly too, walking along the beach it's very obvious the effort they put into keeping their stretch of beach clean and free of litter. If you have a car with you I recommend parking it under the light next door at Peer's place. We will be back for sure.

  We spent a week at the Blue Moon cabana. It was great. Right on the beach and in the heart of Hopkins. There is plenty to see and eat and do on foot. There is a nice tiled area to rinse off your feet or shower before going upstairs. It can get noisy at times, there is a cool spot next store that likes to turn up the music at times. Overall a great spot for us!

  My wife and I stayed in the big cabana for a week and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and safe and Mirko was a wonderful host. The top 3 breakfast places are all under a 2 minute walk and all the towns night life is within a 10-15 minute walk. Our best times however were spent taking in the oceans sounds and smells from our 2nd floor veranda after sunset. We can't wait to return. Thanks for everything Mirko!

  My 3 friends and I went to Hopkins for my birthday weekend and had a great time. The house is right on the beach and just as beautiful as the pictures. It was just enough space for our group of 4. There is no A/C, but there are ceiling fans and the weather was so mild during our trip that I didn't even notice. My only 2 complaints about the house: 1. Roosters crowing ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I think they were next door in the back of the restaurant, but we never saw them, so its hard to say. It was pretty annoying and seemed like the minute we laid down for bed was when it started. 2. Our 2nd night there, we were locking the front door to leave and the key broke off in the lock. There is another side door we were able to get in and out of though so it worked out ok. It was really disappointing that we were charged for this though, considering the key wasn't broken due to negligence or excessive force. The property manager insisted that in 6 years, there had never been a problem with the lock/key so it was obviously our fault. the charge was only $30 but it still left a bad taste in our mouths. Other than that, I loved the property and would stay there again.

  No A/C! NO view....well, unless you like looking at the back of the cabana right in front of you. Very cute inside, though. But, no A/C.
