::Made a reservation and Budget kept sending me emails telling how my car would be ready but when we got there, there were no cars! Just lucky that the rental place next door had a car otherwise the entire vacation would have been shot! I will never book with them again and will look to a vendor that actually RESERVES a car. I'm pretty sure that I understand the meaning of that word but clearly Budget does not!

::We rented a car from Belize city airport location. To start with they charged us for mandatory insurance which was never discussed. What they didn’t also let us know was that the mandatory insurance was applicable only if you pay with Visa. If we knew it we would use another credit card as we already had car insurance. It was a very old Suzuki. The remote didn’t work to lock and unlock all the doors. The key opened and locked the driver door only. Inside dash and the armrest was broken. The AC vent on the passenger side was broken both physically and mechanically and didn’t blow the air. The rubber rim above the windshield was off half way and kept flapping on the roof. On top of that the gas gauge wasn’t full but it was marked as full in the contract. If we didn’t notice it right away, we would have had to pay for the full tank. Overall Very unhappy with the service.

::We had a good rental here! Just don't expect a brand new USA standard car. There were some broken pieces and scratches, but the AC worked and it didn't leave us stranded. We had an amazing time exploring Belize! They were even nice enough to come meet us to return the car so we didn't have to get another taxi. Great service!!
