  Very good attention and fast service. Because it is a public hospital it is free for the patients.

  While on vacation from the United States, my girlfriend fell out of a golf cart and cracked her head open. We rushed to this hospital and they immediately received us, took us into an emergency room, and began taking care of my girlfriend within minutes. Within 15 minutes of the accident (or 5-10 minutes after arrival oat the hospital), they were stitching her up and preparing her for X-Rays. After imaging her head, they confirmed she didn’t have a fractured skull, and then monitored her for internal bleeding within her skull. She was cleared after two hours of monitoring, and was sent off with prescriptions to help her through the healing process. All of this was free, and the doctor/nurses provided it with kind hearts and smiles on their faces. This hospital was a miracle when we needed it most, and we will forever be grateful to the staff and facility. Thank you so much!!!

  Hello- I am visiting Belize for two weeks. Upon my arrival, the second day I began using bug spray orange bottle “off” combined with “sun bum” sunscreen all over my skin arms, and legs to keep the mosquitoes away, which it did. I had never used those products on my skin. I broke out with a rash on my legs and arms. I visited the Dr. Otto Rodriguez Poly Clinic II and they took great care of me. Additionally, I had no idea my blood pressure was up as well, as they notified me of this and they treated me, and my blood pressure was lowered. The next day, which is today. I feel amazing and the rash is leaving just like that. The entire staff was amazing!! They cared about the patient getting well. I was greeted by Shafara at the front door. My blood pressure was taken by Tiffani and I was seen by Correa who gave me a shot. Dr Lara was excellent. I tried to leave and get back to my resort and Dr Lara advised me to stay to continue resting, and I did do that. I am thankful for everyone. God Bless you all. 👑🥰 Signed fervently, Lakeisha McFall

  I had the unfortunate luck to have a kidney stone while in San Pedro, and was in a lot of pain. The staff at the Polyclinic were quick and professional in diagnosing and treating me. They prescribed me some painkillers, which would have been free at the clinic pharmacy if this was during regular hours, but because it was after hours we ended up purchasing them a a nearby pharmacy. Only BZ$10 for the pills, so no hardship there, either! I recommend the Polyclinic!
