::We came here for breakfast and had breakfast burritos on fresh homemade flour tortillas. It was so good we came back for dinner and had chicken empanadas. They were $1 for two! This has honestly maybe been the best food we’ve had on the island. The hot sauce they keep on the table is very hot but very good! We plan on going back tomorrow for breakfast again.

::We drove by this place daily and there was always a line of locals so we figured it must be good. We got there, the menu wasn't clear so I asked if they had tacos. "No" was the answer. Confused how a taco stand didn't have tacos, we both ordered the chicken burritos. There was no chicken I could find so it was basically a bean burrito with a tiny bit of cheese. It was so bad we both took 2 bites and threw them in the trash and went down to the Truck Stop instead. The one plus was it was cheap...but we got what we paid for. Even the "bottled water" was refilled water bottles with no labels on them...you've been warned.

::Belizean street food made to order at fantastic prices. You can get a large and delicious breakfast for around $5US. Get there early before they run out of fry jacks. Update: The dinner plates are also delicious. 5 tostadas or salbutes with all the toppings for $5US.

::Great authentic spot just south of the bridge. Always busy with locals when we drove by so we stopped for dinner. Large portions all fresh to order. Burritos are huge and good amount of seating in front of the order stand to sit and eat.

::Perfect local street food type place. I stumbled upon this and had to co.e back the next night as well. Night 2 I missed the fish empanadas-and super sweet lady there had saved me one! It's full of locals, so you know it's good.
