  This duty free shop in the airport is a rip off. They will sell you items that can't pass through security. I purchased a blue diamond rum letting the lady that was work that I will be traveling to the USA. She sold me a bottle without letting me know it's a glass bottle. This is my 1st time in the country not knowing the rum I bought looked like it was a bottle and it's not. My so called rum that looks like it's in a bottle that really in a bag got taken from me at security. If I were you I wouldn't trust to buy anything from them. THEY ARE A RIP OFF. DONT BUY FROM THEM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT silver Belizean blue if you are traveling to the USA. The people that work there will take you money and not inform you that it won't pass security. So I'm letting everyone else know. That company should be ashamed. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

  This place is a scam. They do not properly package their products. All of my purchases were not cleared in the US. First time duty free shopping hard lesson- merchandise needs to bagged and sealed in duty free bags.

  Didn’t package the bottle to be able to take through US customs. Was confiscated during a connection. Shocking that an airport duty free store doesn’t follow the rules.

  US security stated that the duty free shops should know better how to pack the alcohol, so that it can be taken through security check. It had no STEB packing. It was just packed in a paper and black plastic bag. See pictures below. I would like a refund but I paid in cash. ☹️ i have my receipt too. I had to get rid of this coconut rum as it even leaked through the seal. Wouldn’t recommended this product for travel.

  Limited selection. Keep walking towards gate 3 and you'll find more duty free shops. Prices US $, and they don't package your purchase to take through US customs. Pushy staff.
