  Mr. Edwin was great! Him and his family of fishing guides are local and know the waters well. We had a tough day due to weather but had plenty of shots on permit. Next time! Really appreciate it enjoyed fishing with Mr. Edwin. Highly recommended!

  These guys were on the fish both inside and outside the reef. Very nice 35' Donzi, nice equipment. I've fished the world and Belize is a top destination

  My girlfriend and I fished for 5 days with Erwin and had an absolute blast. He constantly was putting us on fish for both spin and fly fishing. He was incredibly friendly and professional and his experience with guiding was exactly what we were hoping for on our trip here. We caught permit, barracuda jacks, snappers and several other species!

  Very impressed with HFC! Went out flats fishing with Captain Erwin today, targeting bonefish and permit. Caught about 7 bonefish, including some that were very nice size. We then went after permit -- we saw maybe a dozen of them, and I think I tried casting to about 6 or so. DIdn't catch any, but had a blast stalking these and sight casting to them. Also found HFC to be very good with communication, nice gear, nice boats (we were on a 23' fiberglass boat today), and price was VERY reasonable - $450 for a full day (8 hours) of flats fishing. Take it from someone who is very difficult to please and someone who has charter fished all over the world -- Hardcore Fishing Charters is a first class operation.

  Love this fishing lodge in Placencia. The 5 rooms are spacious, clean and all have AC and private baths. The food is delicious plus you are walking distance to Placencia town for more restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. Most people come here to fish of course, and this is what they really excel at. Great gear, very nice boats, and the guides Martin and Erwin are the best in the biz. Great people all round, highly recommend it!
