::It starts at the top and trickles down into everything Jade Jungle offers - incredible management that leads into a hard working, warm, hospitable, genuine, welcoming staff. Everyone was pleasant and kind making us feel so at home. The resort is gorgeous. The jungle is incredible and Jade Jungle Resort has honed in on the natural beauty and used it to inspire their design choices in the cabana’s & the lodge. So charming! So many beautiful and unique details and textures. The room we stayed in felt like it was born for the jungle- such an authentic and yet high end vibe. The food was AMAZING and seriously made the trip. Some notable points: the glow of the lanterns, the sound of the jungle as you fall asleep and wake up, the feeling of disconnecting from the business of normal life, the river was magical and warm and beautiful to float, the swinging bridges, the meadow and then the fireflies glistening. The excursions were so much fun, such cool local and cultural experiences. The guides were so accommodating, spoke great English, and had so much knowledge to share which made the experience more rich. We’ll never forget this trip!

::I was part of the archaeological team that excavated the plazuela at this resort (then called Pook’s Hill) back in 2005-2006, and helped map then rebuild the postclassic-period sweatbath. I had always hoped to bring my family out to see it and stay for a couple of nights sometime - this seemed maybe feasible when the prices were in the $250/night USD range, up through 2023/24. Sadly, it appears the new owners have fully “luxurized the property”, charging almost $1000/night to stay there. These are hundred-millionaire and billionaire-only prices, though the amenities seem to be pretty much the same (still no pool haha). I guess people are still going, sadly I (and anyone else who isn’t in private equity) will never return.

::Jade Jungle Resort is one of a kind. Nestled deep in the Belize jungle you feel like you’re entering an enchanted place. The rooms, the staff, the food, the adventures are all top notch. Lance and Chrissy make you feel so welcome. The cabanas are so fun to stay in and the bed was so comfortable! Mario, Mike, Felix and Dennis are exceptional guides. Jade is the closest place to stay to see the ATM cave, it’s a birding destination and all other activities are within an hour of Jade. And 1 1/2 from the airport. The food is the best I’ve ever eaten while vacationing! Tanya and the kitchen staff go above and beyond to feed you the healthiest food you’ve ever had. I love going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The Mayan Plazuela that is right on the property is incredible to see and learn about. They do a Mayan welcome ceremony there and you can feel the wonderful spirit of the Mayan people here. I have stayed here many times and will continue to each time I visit Belize.

::Jade Jungle Resort blew us away. The food was exceptional — fresh from their on-site hydroponic gardens and prepared with care and creativity. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, making us feel welcome and well cared for from start to finish. The remodeled accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and well thought-out, and the entire property is a nature-lover’s dream — birds, monkeys, and peaceful jungle surroundings everywhere you turn. Truly one of the most unique and soul-refreshing places we’ve stayed.
