::We completely fell in love with Tobacco Cay and staying at Joe Jo's was absolutely perfect. The cabanas are clean with gorgeous views out the front of the reef, and they also look really pretty with their lemon yellow walls and red roof setting them apart from the other places to stay on the island. The hammocks are excellent for lounging around in, the equipment was great, they had Snorkel gear which fitted our entire family including the 6 and 8 year old and the adults and the paddleboards were in excellent condition. You can swim directly onto the reef so no need for expensive boat tours if you just want to relax on the island. Joe Jo's stay includes 3 meals a day, and the food was brilliant. Even our fussy eaters were delighted and we felt like we had proper homemade delicious meals every day. David and Carmen are super helpful and friendly and we felt completely at home. Transportation from Dangriga by water taxi was in time and super easy to arrange. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Highly highly recommend

::Simple island living with delicious food...Joe Jo's on the Reef is a gem. Located in beautiful Tobacco Caye, with access to the reef, via kayak's, paddle boards and fins/mask/snorkel made available. The swim to the reef is reasonable and safe. Dave & Carmen are wonderful hosts and the location will not disappoint. The cabins are simple, but have everything you need to "glamp" on a beautiful island. Comfortable towels, fans and clean sheets...all provided. The price was right and the food was very impressive. If you are an avid snorkeler, bring your own gear, but if you are a beginner the gear provided will suffice. Joe Jo's is not the entire island, there are other small resorts, but Joe Jo's is definitely the cleanest. Two bars on the island make for a nice way to meet other people, with sunset drink specials. We cannot say enough good things about this Belize experience.

::I stayed at Jo Jo's in February of 2018 and we very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin, the good food and the friendly, accommodating staff. The waters surrounding the Caye are crystal clear and this is a snorkelers paradise with plenty of sea life to observe. In fact, I enjoyed my previous stay so much that I am planning a trip back ....... Tobacco Caye is a small island, however it is safe, clean, friendly and it is a fantastic place to kick back, rest, relax and recharge! I have been to the Great Barrier Reef, Thailand, the Red Sea and many other snorkeling places around the world and Tobacco Caye is in that league! Jo Jo's and Tobacco Caye .... and awesome combination!!!

::We enjoyed our vacation so much! If you are looking for an "all inclusive could be anywhere" vanilla resort this isn't the place for you. It is pretty barebones but our rooms were clean, the meals were wonderful and we left feeling like family. I loved that we ate our meals with the other guests, we met so many interesting people! The local people on the island are so friendly and the staff at Joe Jo's is top-notch. A great place for a get away. I hope to go back!

::We had an amazing stay at Joe Jo's! The price was great and included great meals every day. The meals were home cooked and they did a great job with the vegetarian meals for my wife. The price included snorkel gear and the use of the kayaks at the pace as well which was a great bonus because it makes everything so easy, which is exactly what you want when you are relaxing on Tobacco Caye!
