  Nice place right by the beach. I can see this place as a freak location during the dry season. I was there in August 2025 and the beach was full of sargassum and the smell often makes it to the hotel.

  We got 2 rooms right near each other. Chefy was accommodation. Rooms were clean everyday. We asked for towels in the middle of the night, while staff was away. And in 10 mins, the owner came to our room and gave us towels. Wow! We weren’t expecting that. Super friendly atmosphere and clean rooms.

  Service is great! Chefy Paz Sr. and Jr are very accommodating. Location is great, right off the beach and 1 minute away from the ferry. Everyone is friendly, from the staff to the people around. Rooms are spacious, good price, and quiet.

  la casa de paz hotel is the best place to stay in San Pedro! The room has AC, a TV with netflix, a water station on site, is so comfortable and in a great central location! Everything you will possibly need is in less than 10 minute walking distance. Chefy and the staff are incredibly responsive, accommodating, friendly and helpful! There is also a security guard on site and we felt so safe (being 4 girls in their 20s visiting Belize for the first time) our whole stay! Not 1 bad thing to say, I could not recommend more!

  The place was great! It was clean!! It was centrally located in San Pedro and it was walking distance to anything. The food was either good or great In San Pedro. The manager, Chefy, was very nice and extremely helpful during my stay. The rooms I’ve stayed in were rather small but I never went there to stay at a top end hotel. The room had been renovated and had a small fridge, TV, microwave and air conditioning. It had a walk in shower, also. When you walk out the door, you’re pretty much on the beach. I would recommend La Casa de Paz to anyone who wants a nice room at a great price that's located close to most everything!
