  Amazing museum in Belize City. Mr. Sebastian Cayatano, a founding member of the National Garifuna Council’s Belize City Branch, is an amazing host with a depth of knowledge of the Garinagu people, Garifuna language and history. Highly recommended if you have the time.

  This place is so amazing and is managed my a very Kind man Mr. Sebatian Cayetano. This is a place where you can find alot of information on the Garinagu people. It is also the headquarters for the National Garifuna Council Belize City Branch

  Want to learn about Garifuna culture and history? This is the best place. Beautiful displays are here. The owner Mr and Mrs Sebastian Cayetano are very knowledgeable.

  Owner Sebastian Cayetano, a former educator, is proud of his Garifuna heritage and so decided to share it with the people of our country and visitors from abroad. Although small in size, the museum provides us with a glimpse of the rich and vibrant culture of the Garifuna people. Visitors would get an idea about the music, language and daily way of life of this humble but proud group who immigrated to Belize in the early 1800's. The Luba Garifuna Museum is certainly a place to visit .
