  I don’t understand all the bad reviews. We had a really good experience. The staff was so friendly and communicative and the bus was comfortable. No complaints at all. Can only recommend.

  FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! The booking said there would be toilets but there were none. The bus was "delayed", I suspect it's "delayed" every day so that then can combine I'll the times slots to one. DON'T BOOK!

  We started the bus ride one hour later than planed because of rain. The reason was that some people do not want to get wet while entering the bus (comment of the provider). We needed to grab a private taxi in Mexiko to be on time for our connection bus in Chetmual.

  I had an excellent experience traveling with Marlin Espada from San Ignacio to Chetumal. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Communication was clear and timely, and everything ran right on schedule. The van was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, making the long ride very pleasant. Our driver was friendly, courteous, and drove safely the whole way. What I appreciated most was how organized the service was—logistics were handled with ease, and I felt well taken care of throughout the journey. I highly recommend Marlin Espada for anyone needing reliable and comfortable shuttle service in Belize and beyond. I will definitely use them again!

  One of the worst bus companies I’ve ever taken. We left from San Ignacio and had to wait 2.5 hours before the bus arrived to pick us up - we were supposed to arrive in Belize City at 11h50 but instead we LEFT at that time! Apparently others have waited as long as 4-5 hours past their original pick up time. Thankfully the people at the coffee shop / restaurant where we were waiting helped us call the company and bus driver (they weren’t answering my calls or text via their main number). It’s one thing to be late and be held up at the border but they could have at least sent us an email or message to give us a heads up. If you plan to go anywhere on time, do not take this company.
