::Mayan Falls is a little off the beaten path and is a little further south on the island than other resorts but I think that’s what made me like it so much. It’s far enough away that a lot of the rowdy tourists aren’t around, yet there are still attractions nearby. Next door to the hotel is a nice little hole in the wall bar called La Sirenita if you want a night cap. It’s directly next to the airport but the departures are so few that it doesn’t really matter too much. The facilities were clean. The futon in the living area was new and had a new cover on it. My guest said that it was very comfortable. I was in the bedroom and again very clean with the softest sheets! There were 2 things that I wish they could’ve included. I was in the Yax Suite and I think they need curtains on the bathroom window. There were several times when the next door neighbors could easily see inside the bathroom when they were on their upper deck, unless there was a film over the windows, but I couldn’t tell. And the last request I would make is more towels. Since there’s a pool, it would be nice to have a bath towel and a pool towel. But otherwise, I really loved the accommodation. Lastly, the pool was amazing! I had a few encounters with other guests and they were all wonderful at the pool. It was clean, peaceful, and relaxing.

::We went to Belize, and stayed at Mayan Falls and had an incredible time. Check in was easy and convenient. The host was prompt at answering all our questions in a timely manner, and had great connections for arranging a driver to pick us up from the airport, and then again from the shuttle boat. I appreciated the rooms and having our own private pool. We felt at home the entire time. Great recommendations on spear fishing, bike rentals, and activities on the island. Will definitely be back soon.

::While some things can't be helped surrounding this property (next door bar with very loud late night patrons) some can be. The rooms are sufficient. They are not spotlessly clean, but clean enough and bug free. The beds are comfortable enough. It's pretty Spartan. If you're looking for "sufficient"b then this is the place for you. No frills basic accommodations.

::We stayed at Mayan Falls for about a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay!!! Nick, Jordan and the staff there were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating, anything we needed they provided, including plenty of recommendations for the area. Our room was perfect for the two of us, even had a kitchenette with a full size fridge! The pool was so great to have, and was cleaned every morning, we especially enjoyed the swim up bar, almost as much as the amazing views from the roof top. We enjoyed that the resort was not in town center, and that it was a simple and quick walk to anything we needed. Would definitely recommend and will be back to stay again!!!

::10/10 recommend!! Loved my stay here. location was perfect for me, an easy walk or bike ride into the main hub of the island. The room was good size, a/c was great, and loved the pool. Great communication from the owner and staff when anything was needed. Also they gave lots of good recommendations for everything you could possibly want to do while visiting. I’ll be back for sure!
