::I am SO GRATEFUL to have had the opportunity to vacation at Mellow Yellow Beach House and I highly recommend staying at this gem! 🤩It is now one of my most favorite places on the planet and can't WAIT to go back! The trip there, so FUN! Instead of driving from the airport to Hopkins, I took a puddle jumper on Mayan Air to Dangriga where my friends picked me up! The villagers in Hopkins are SO NICE! Every morning I walked with my friends and as we walked the main road, everyone waved and said good morning! The beach house is so beautiful, spacious, sleeps 4 people comfortably, even equipped with private bathrooms for both rooms. Honestly, the home reminds me of living in Italy! My favorite part, the main deck! Every morning, we'd sit on the deck, drinking coffee and watching the sunrise on the beach. It was January and I was able to swim at 6:15am right outside the gated sandy backyard, while the sun rose! There is one grocery store, practically right across the street along with amazing bars and restaurants! I'd also highly recommend booking a scuba, snorkeling or bioluminescence tour with Happy Go Luckie Tours! We took a boat out to two reefs, caught our lunch and hung out on Bread & Butter Island! The crew, they are AMAZING! At night, we ventured up on the top deck of the house to star gaze! It was truly an amazing adventure and if you are looking for a Zen space, with the sound of ocean waves in the background, full of positive amazing energy and amazing people, book a trip today to Mellow Yellow Beach House!

::Amazing trip! This property is in the heart of the lovely Village of Hopkins. Beautiful property with gorgeous views and all the necessary amenities making it feel like home. Kind and welcoming community with plenty of amazing local places to eat and enjoy a beverage. Plenty of activities to do when you can actually tear yourself away from the very well maintained private beach or when you wake up from a peaceful nap while listening to the waves in one of the hammocks. I will definitely be back!

::This house is amazing and is exactly what it looks like in photos. The kitchen, the view the balcony are top notch. Hopkins Village was a find! The people friendly and the restaurants were fantastic. Mirko the property manager couldn't have been more accommodating from booking to departure and we stayed for a glorious two weeks. He helped us with a last minute medical emergency the day before departure and arranged a ride to the hospital at a late hour. He assisted with restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements when we were not riding our bikes and arranged some wonderful snorkeling tours and an underground cave tubing experience that was amazing. Walking the beach at high tide was a bit tricky so bring water shoes. A headlamp for night time walking is also great. Highlights: Jaguar reef The Deck Bar. 20 foot jump into the water, great view and cocktails. Say hi to Rudy and Erwin. Hopkins Bay Resort, the Rum Bar has great lunch options as does Thongs Cafe. Some restaurant hours vary so check before you go. Chef Rob's was a very nice experience and the Barracuda Grill for the Sunday BBQ was outstanding. Hamanasi Resort... We celebrated our 25th Anniversary thanks to Mirko's efforts. The outdoor shower to rinse off was a great feature. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Vegetable carts on the side of the road have lots of produce to choose from. We highly recommend this home and encourage a trip to Hopkins Bay and the Mellow Yellow House.

::The Mellow Yellow Beach House (MYBH) is the perfect vacation stay! The property is beautifully laid out, clean, well designed and gorgeous. It is evident that this is a newer build with amazing amenities. Highlights include: Open living area/kitchen that made it so much fun to cook/entertain in. Large bathrooms with huge showers (and rainfall showerheads!) and comfortable beds. Can we talk about the views!? Rooftop sunsets and the most beautiful sunrises! The beach is clean and free of any debris and I enjoyed my morning coffee while sitting on a tree stump on the beach watching the sunrise. We tried to schedule a snorkeling trip online, but they were booked. We called the property manager and he found a local instructor and booked our trip for us! Anything we needed...he happily took care of! We absolutely loved living in the Hopkins community and everyone is so friendly. (A tip I learned of; the locals don't want to bother you, so they are pretty quiet and do not acknowledge you, but if YOU say "hello"...oh my gosh...SO friendly!) Long review and there is so much more to share, but this gives you an idea as to how perfect the MYBH is...book it now before it books up!

::Incredible! The house is spacious and modern with all of the comforts of home. The views from the balcony and the roof will literally take your breath away. The beach is kept clean and the ocean is like bath water. The furniture is comfortable and the rainfall shower is heaven. My only complaint is the hammocks. They are dangerously relaxing and will have you swaying away half the day completely mesmerized by the caressing breeze and the soothing sounds of the sea before you know it. Hopkins is also an amazing village. I’ve tried half the restaurants and haven’t had a bad meal yet. There’s plenty of activities in the area if you need a change from the beautiful beach right there in your yard. The property manager is very responsive and can recommend and arrange tons of things to do and see. Oh and try the ring ring game in the palapa. Our record is 3 so you’ve got some competition!
