  Anne, I feel very disappointed in the way you handled this hole issue. First of all you asked me to contact you directly and not through VRBO which should have been a red flag for me. And now I have no security from a 3rd party and no paper trail because it was all on the phone. Then I gave you my credit card which you gave me a receipt showing that I paid you. It showed that I paid for every room for 1 day you told me it looked like that because it was the only way that you could do the receipt. But I was satisfied I paid for 1/2 of the cost. You know that I booked way in advance because this was very special vacation with my family for my 60th birthday. You only contacted me after I contacted you and it looked like you had forgotten the reservation totally and forgotten our conversation and wanted double the agreed amount. Plus now you say we can't use the kitchen which you assured me we could have. Now I have no reservation and have to scramble to find somewhere at the final few weeks for 11 people. No I could not stay with you as I can't trust you

  Place is nice but rooms are pretty dusty, breakfast is not bad but very simple.

  Partner & I spent 5 days there January 2016. It was too short a time & we are sad not to be able to return this winter. Anne & Gary worked their fingers to the bone many years ago to create this lovely and ecologically special little haven. They are down-to-earth hosts and very accommodating. The property is peaceful and still an easy bicycle to town. Anne is a terrific cook if you wish to eat there. Landscaping is wonderfully natural. I certainly hope we can return sooner rather than later!

  Our stay at Miller's Landing was great.Gary and Ann are very down to earth people.We had 11 people stay there,so we had the whole place to ourselves and no complaints from any of us.I would recommend this place to everyone.
