National Car Rental in Belize City

  I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this car rental location. We had made a reservation well in advance, expecting a smooth and hassle-free process. However, when we arrived at around noon, we were told there were no cars available—despite the fact that it was still early in the day. To make matters worse, we were informed that they wouldn't have any cars available for the rest of the day. The staff offered no real solutions or assistance. They mentioned a non-national brand just a few doors down as an option, but other than that, we were essentially told we were out of luck. Someone walked us down to the car rental/SIM store at the end of the building and said they would match National’s prices. We did not know if we should or could trust this rental company. It’s incredibly frustrating to have a reservation and still be left stranded with no car. I expected better service since I rely on National for personal and work travel. I felt very let down by a company that I trusted. I would not recommend renting from National at this location.

  Amazing car rental experience. Fast, friendly service and an excellent vehicle (go Pikachu!). This was one of the best non-usa rentals I've done. Thanks for the great service.
