::We loved our stay at Ray Caye. Wherever you are on the island the views are stunning, and you never get used to it. Throughout our trip we would stop and marvel at the views in different corners of the island and at different times of the day. The staff are also lovely and made us feel like home. From the boating trip to the island, to the restaurant crew, and all the people working on the island, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the honeymoon suite—the view from our room was breathtaking, and waking up to the sound and sight of the ocean each morning was a dream. The whole space felt serene and private, it was so nice to come back to that comfort after being out in the water all day. The restaurant has a different menu every night and all the meals were excellent. We arrived right around the lobster season opening, so we were fortunate to try a couple of amazing lobster dishes. Our favorite part was swimming and snorkeling around the island. It has its own little reef section where you can snorkel straight from the island, swim on the reef, and marvel at all the marine life. If you enjoy snorkeling, I would also recommend the tour at the Silk Cayes and Turtle Spot. This was my favorite experience of our stay at Ray Caye, and I would definitely recommend it. All around an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to visit again. The island is like a postcard, the food amazing, the people are genuine, and the sea and sea life stunning.

::This place was absolutely incredible. My wife and I went a couple weeks ago for our honeymoon and could not have chosen a better destination. It takes a little extra effort to get there (you fly into Belize City and then take a small airplane to Placencia where a boat takes you to the island) but that adds to the mystique and is definitely worth it. From start to finish we loved everything. I had slight reservations going into it that there was only 1 restaurant to eat at. I cook at home a ton and eat out a lot so I have relatively high expectations but this kitchen was unreal. Breakfast and lunch menu is the same every day but there were several options I wanted to try that I didn’t even get around to in the 6 days we were there. Dinner menu is different every night and every option was delicious. I would come back for the food alone but the staff is what makes this place truly special. Floret, Noe, Franklin (Benjamin Franklin), Pablo (Pablito, The Beast), and Barnaby were the group taking care of us while we were there and they could not have been more lovely to be around. Honeymoon suite was insane. We snorkeled with sharks and sting rays. We will be returning with friends in the future❤️

::My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon at Ray Caye resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was above and beyond anything we’ve experienced before. Every member of the staff treated us with warmth, care, and genuine kindness—making us feel not like guests, but like part of a family. Shoutouts to John, Noe, Jose, and Franklin for being so kind and filling our days with laughter and joy. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the view was incredible. We really enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. The suite was set away from most of the island and the added privacy/seclusion really helped the honeymoon feel special. The food was phenomenal. We really enjoyed trying the different mocktails and local specials. We loved that dinner was a different menu everyday; it made it something to look forward to. Ray Caye made our honeymoon dreams come true. We’re grateful for the incredible team who made our stay special. We will absolutely be back and we can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for romantic luxury.

::The island is absolutely beautiful. After carefully evaluating this review we are updating our experience to 4 stars. Amenities, rooms and the overall condition of the island is very good. Restaurant service and staff are great. Some staff in the hotel can improve in their kindness to guests. Overall congratulations to the team. As a recommendation to the restaurant menu, should include some bbq nights.

::Went for honeymoon in April 2024 and had the best time! The island is beyond gorgeous - so many activities to do on island and excursions off island to keep you occupied. The honeymoon suit has its own private pool which we spent our afternoons in everyday. The food was AMAZING! We got the all inclusive food and beverage which is the way to go. The staff were lovely and we cannot wait to plan a return visit.
