  Very good hotel and decent value for money. However, we weren't impressed by the staff's attitude upon leaving. We were owed 3 dollars change because she didn't have it the night before, but assured us she'd get it to us in the morning. She still didn't have it in the morning and almost acted as though it was our problem. It's certainly the hotel's problem to give us change. The fact she couldn't even be bothered to go and change some cash in a shop nearby displays very poor service.

  Lovely staff who were really helpful when we got stuck in Pg during the weekend, because no boats run then. We ended up having to stay for 3 nights and they were really sweet checking in on us, finding a room that was affordable for us for the duration and the breakfast place attached was great. The place is not fancy, but it's got great WiFi (3-4 different routers throughout the place), ac, good showers and hammocks to chill in. However, 2 things keeping it from 5 is that the night manager watched movies and clips, what sounded like right under our window, on and off throughout the night and unfortunately it did wake us up a lot. Also the breakfast place was closed both Sunday and Monday with no info, so we had to make last minute adjustments on the last day where we had to be somewhere early. If you like us get to PG during days the boats don't run(sat-sun), this is a decent place to be. Great resturants in walking distance (fi wli food, ashas soul kitchen and graces)

  Not the cheapest place in town but worth the extra spend. Staff were amazingly helpful, bed was comfortable, AC worked and mosquito nets were well maintained. I really liked the recliner chairs spread around the various balconies.

  Pg is my home town, and I’m always excited to visit. Whenever I know of someone visiting down south I always recommend St. Charles Inn. However, I stayed there a couple weeks ago and I regretted it. I got my nights rest but for what I was paying I could have gotten some where nicer. The room I got was definitely out dated and run down. For $67 I payed I’d-be more comfortable at a hostel. The shower was filthy and so tiny. I was also sharing a small room with roaches while I listen to rats run up and down the ceiling. I was furious and refrained from commenting because I have much respect for the owners. It’s just becomes annoying when I see them posting nice decent rooms when I was given a horrible one especially being a local of the town. I would suggest either renovating those old rooms or don’t give them to people.
