::Nothing bad to say. First we took a ferry from Belize to Caye Caulker and spent there 4 days. We took a ferry to Chetumal Mexico. All went great. Notice that if you are going to Mexico you need to check in 1hr before departure.

::Very bad experience today with the watertaxi from Caye Caulker to Chetumal today. We had a stop at San Pedro for Belizean immigration, and left San Pedro with 1.5hrs delay (10:00 am instead 8:30 am). The company checked our tickets/passports twice (in Caye Caulker and San Pedro). Each time it took more than 30min to check everyone. Than the queue to pay Belize exit tax, and another queue for immigration stamp. I guess they have not heard anything about effiviency...And don't get me started on the speed of Mexican immigration at Chetumal....it took us 1.5hrs from watertaxi docking to leaving the terminal. The watertaxi company does not seem to care (they seem to have monopoly on the route). Too bad, after such treatment, I will be discouraging my friends from visiting Belizeam islands and avoid Chetumal. A shame because the rest of my trip in Mexico was great.

::BUYER BEWARE: We had purchased tickets from this company to return to Belize City from Caye Caulker. Our plans changed and we decided to go instead to Chetumal. We asked them to please credit the tickets we paid for and would not use into our new and more expensive tickets to Chetumal and they would not as they said it was international vs domestic. Not sure why that matters, but we then asked if we could purchase a domestic ticket to San Pedro and be credited on that and then an international ticket from San Pedro on to Chetumal. For this they said no now because the original ticket seller in Belize City had already been paid their commission and they seemed to have no way to credit and subtract that commission on the next paycheck. We asked if we could be credited back the money minus commissions and this was also a no. We then had to pay full price for the Chetumal tickets and eat the costs of the other tickets up as a loss for no good reason and terrible company policy. Very frustrating. They seem to be a monopoly so donāt seem to care about taking care of their customers who want to upgrade to a higher priced ticket sadly.

::Does what it needs to, but be aware everything is on island time. Don't plan to grab your luggage straight away, or have AC or seats while waiting. The ferry itself was fine, enough seating, and some open air, some interior seats.

::Departed from Caye Caulker on time but on return, made us wait a while leaving Belize City and also departed late. Personally I think I prefer this ferry though over Ocean Ferry because they offer more departure times and even played music when sitting above with the captain. Made it a more enjoyable ride. Felt safe and the crew seemed friendly.
