  This place is a really great idea. When I discovered it, I was so excited. But something in terms of organization and efficiency is just way off. My feelings are so hurt behind this experience. I went last night and they were out of all of the things that I wanted to order so I made a point to come back today even in the torrential rain as I was determined to get there. All in all to had to wait 2 hours for 2 tapas which is beyond wild. Several waitstaff kept asking me over and over again if I had gotten all my food and that it would be right out and it just didn’t happen that way. I even had to wait at the register for quite a while just to pay along with several other people. I watched people walk out after waiting for a long time and not getting their food. Folks to one side of me who got seated after me got served before me. Folks on the other side of me who have had waiting longer than me, ended up getting comped for one of their items because they had been waiting so long. I would have ordered more as I had planned to, but after being there for so long, I was clear that I just needed to leave and be grateful for what I had gotten. The Callilou dish was quite tasty just fyi The rest of the experience I could’ve skipped.

  They had someone on the beach recommending this place for great “oxtail” “curry” good “Trini” food. To say we were beyond disappointed is an understatement. First going to a Trini restaurant on a tropical island we were not expecting to hear pulse house music. Besides the music (which killed the vibe ) the food was absolutely terrible best thing was the pepper sauce (it was also the only thing with flavor). We had the oxtail tail tostones to start and stopped there. The oxtails had no flavor which I was so disappointed in. The drinks were good but not good enough to make up for the disappointing food. The restaurant itself is nice and would have been a nice vibe if the music was better. Overall there are more than enough traditional authentic food places in the area from locals. I would recommend trying the others and skipping this place unless you prefer your food with minimal taste.

  I celebrated my 30th birthday here and it was everything I hoped for and more. Located in beautiful Belize, this Caribbean tapas spot blends bold island flavors with creative presentation—and every bite delivered. ✨ The Highlights: 🥘 Trini Curry Goat – Tender, rich, and deeply flavorful. The goat was slow-cooked to perfection in authentic West Indian spices, and the roti on the side soaked up every bit of that curry goodness. 🥟 Samosas – Veggie option! The tomato sauce combo is definitely a great item worth trying. 🍤 Coconut Shrimp – Fried to a perfect golden crunch, the shrimp were coated in coconut flakes and paired with a fresh pineapple habanero dipping sauce that was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. 🍌 Oxtail Tostones – Hands-down my favorite bite of the night. The crispy tostones were topped with mouthwatering slow-cooked oxtail and a bright tomato, cilantro, and lime garnish. Pure Caribbean comfort food with a twist. 🍹 Cocktails – Just like the food, the drinks here were full of tropical flair. Fruity, fun, and super refreshing. 📊 Final Verdict: Food: 9/10 Ambiance: Cozy, vibrant, and great for groups or a celebratory night out. Favorites: Oxtail Tostones & Coconut Shrimp Definitely a must-visit if you're in Belize and craving Caribbean tapas done right.

  Unique take on authentic Caribbean flavours which works so so well. Jerk chicken wings and coconut prawns were amazing. Best of the night was the Trini Doubles dish, flavour bomb. You can’t miss this place. Cozy atmosphere in the evening with live music. Cocktails were incredible too - punchy, flavoursome and not sweet. Service excellent too.

  Beautiful place to have lunch ! The food is well refined with tasty food dish creation. The tapas are sometimes a bit small to feel full with just one, and therefore it's a bit expensive. But culinary speaking, you'll have an amazing experience !
