::Review This was our second trip to Sweet Songs Lodge and we hope there are more to come. Sweet Songs Lodge provides a luxurious vacation spot to enjoy the jungles and interior areas of Belize. We relaxed in our Treehouse, napped on the swinging bed on the deck, listened to a huge variety of song birds in the morning, and walked among the beautifully landscaped grounds showing off all kinds of flora and fauna. The beach is incredible to visit with its sandstone bluff on the opposite bank. The river provides canoe and inner tube floating to relax away the day. What really makes Sweet Songs lodge special is its staff. From check in with Abdiel and Esmeralda, to Ragner and Essenssia (and more) as dining staff, to Mason (and more) as bar staff, we became quick friends for our stay. The food was delicious, the bar drinks exotic, and everyone was so helpful and pleasant. Just 25 minutes from San Ignacio, it offers a home base for so many adventures Belize has to offer. Donât miss out on visiting this special resort.

::I wish I could give Sweet Songs Lodge more than 5 stars! Our family was completely enchanted by the entire experienceâfrom the delicious meals and welcoming staff to the serene pool, breathtaking jungle views, and incredible biodiversity right outside our door. We especially loved the night hikes and how close the lodge is to Mayan ruins and the beautiful Belize Botanic Gardens. Huge thanks to John and Radner for their energy, knowledge, and bravery in guiding us through the jungleâs wildlife, and to the stables manager for sharing the magical sight of a keel-billed toucan nest. River tubing was a peaceful, fun adventureâeasy to walk to and back from on our own. We truly didnât want to leave. Sweet Songs offers total jungle immersion with exceptional service, and weâre already dreaming of returning for a longer stay.

::We just finished our stay at Sweet songs. We are so glad that we picked this wonderful property. The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and very unique. It was located in a jungle area with modern facilities that maintained the uniqueness of the jungle. The restaurant had excellent food and drinks. The pool bar was amazing and a great way to wind down in the afternoons hanging out with the awesome bartenders. We ate breakfast with the two cans and various creates were visible from the patio in the evening. We booked three tours through the hotel and they did a great job coordinating everything door-to-door If youâre looking for a stress free travel experience that includes all park and guide fee itâs a good option. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a unique experience in the San Ignacio area. Shout out to Esmeralda, Yesenia, Tiro, Seff and the entire staff for all your hospitality and memories. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend so special!

::The staff at Sweet Songs are what made this stay enjoyable! Maysin, Rita, Derby, Ragner, Enrique, Esmeralda and all the groundskeepers. Everyone was ready with a smile and prepared to assist with any request! We were in the junior king casita and it was sparsely furnished. Esmeralda got us two comfortable patio chairs, maintenance changed the shower head quickly and those two adjustments improved conditions tremendously. The location is remote which suited us perfectly! So many birds, kinkajous, agouti, and howler monkeys. Staff were always quick to point them out. Breakfasts and lunches were great, but dinners were consistently disappointing. Rubbery shrimp, dry pork, and chewy beef- mostly from overcooking. The pontoon adventure took us along the Macal River to three waterfalls. Highly recommend đ Market/Iguana/chocolate tour was good. Donât miss the iguanas! Carlos was the best guide for Xunantunich. Knowledgeable, attentive, and gave 100%. Thanks to everyone at Sweet Songs for treating us like royalty!

::We were thinking about our next visit to Sweet Songs before we even checked out. The unique rooms, the nature, the amenities, and the PEOPLE all make for an experience you cannot get anywhere else. I had just as much fun hanging out in the restaurant and at the pool as I did exploring Xunantunich. Our tour guide Cefas was amazing, and Derby, Rita, Maysin, Nair, and many more made sure he had everything we wanted and needed. The food is delicious, the property is breathtaking, and the people are unforgettable. Our homeymoon was perfect. Until next time!
