::Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge was our first stop in Belize — and oh, how we wish it were also our last! We absolutely loved everything about this place, from the lush surroundings to the incredible staff — especially Sandy, who was the sweetest, most caring & friendly person. She made our stay extra special. Big shoutout to Sandy! We stayed in Mountain View #1, and it was absolutely stunning. Waking up every morning to that breathtaking view, stepping right into our own private hot tub (though we secretly wished it was just a few degrees hotter!), lounging in our hammock, or relaxing in the cozy woven chairs — it was paradise. Just a short walk down the steps led us to a gorgeous pool with full food and drink service — because who doesn’t love a piña colada or a beer by the pool in the jungle? And the food… wow. Every meal was a hit! The beet pâté at dinner was divine, and the breakfast smoothies were the perfect tropical treat. We found ourselves saying more than once that we wished we could end our trip here too. Our favorite, though, might just have been Hume, the restaurant at their sister property, The Banks. We loved it so much we ordered the Tomahawk steak two nights in a row! Breakfast there was also fantastic. If you’re heading to Belize, stay at either The Sleeping Giant or The Banks — you will NOT regret it! 🌿✨

::Our stay at The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant was the best part of our Honeymoon adventure trip through Belize. Karla at the front desk greeted us and, honestly, every member of the hotel staff we met was so nice. The room was the nicest room either of us has ever stayed in. From the bedding to the soaps to the coffee, it all felt so luxurious. We loved the challenge of hiking to the gazebo lookout spot—when you get to the top, the view will take your breath away. Our favorite part of our honeymoon was the horseback riding. Shamar took us all through the trails and we got to eat fresh oranges and grapefruits straight from the tree. We really enjoyed the pool, having breakfast at Grove House, eating pizza at Don Tonitos, and ordering room service on a rainy evening. And if you happen to forget your favorite shirts even after "double-checking," they will find them and send them home to you. The service is exceptional and this place is unforgettable. We hope to return again and again.

::Oh my goodness!!! EVERYTHING and EVERYONE here is just EXCELLENT!! Our room is heaven...comfortable bed, delicious coffee, fabulous hammock on the balcony facing the river and mountains. The grounds are vast and beautifully lush and landscaped with so much to do...trails, kayaking, horseback riding, or just soaking in the hot tub. Dinners every evening have been next level, delicious. And the sraff...each one helpful, smiling, welcoming and warm. They made my 60th birthday memorable, and even surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet and fruit tray after a long day at the ATM cave. This was a splurge, but so worth it! This is the place to stay if you want to treat yourself, so worth it, do it!!!

::This is an incredible resort! The staff is wonderful, they will go out of their way to ensure your stay is amazing. The food is all farm to table, everything we had was delicious. Our room was beautiful, with really thoughtful touches. There is lots to do on the property, and the guided tours were fantastic! I will be returning!

::My fiance and I just returned from our honeymoon. We have not stopped raving about our experience at the Sleeping Giant. We want to shout out Will, the concierge who we worked with. He as AMAZING! The friendliest of friendly people. It was such a nice touch that he would come around at dinner, call us by our names, and know exactly what we were planning for the following day. We had the joy of riding with him back to the beach and were just so impressed with him. The room was unbelievable with great jungle vibes. Our plunge pool was so clean, as well! Our excursions were the Mayan cooking class, horseback riding, and Xunantunich ruins. All were worth doing, and we are so grateful for the time that we spent in this beautiful paradise! The only thing that COULD have been improved was a cleaner pool deck, but it was not that bad. :) 5/5 overall, no doubt about it.
