  Everything about our one week stay at Turneffe exceeded our expectations. Highlights - Wonderful reefs full of healthy coral and tons of marine life - Luxurious accommodations on a private island with excellent hospitality - Great food and endless fun! Diving This resort is surrounded by some of the best diving we’ve experienced. All less than 10 minutes off of the island are beautiful reefs with an abundance of marine life. The coral is very healthy and every dive had something special. We saw dozens of Reef Sharks, the biggest Loggerhead Turtle I’ve ever seen, dolphins, Spotted Eagle Rays, sleeping Sting Rays, eels, lobsters, octopuses, squid and plenty of schools of fish. You also get to dive the popular dive sites in Belize like the Blue Hole but honestly the reefs by the resort were more impressive. Every dive is guided and all of your equipment is carefully taken care of by the dive master and boat captain. Most of the dives are drift dives which makes things super easy. No need to fight the current, the boat comes to you when you surface. Hilario was our dive master and he was so knowledgeable. He found all kinds of marine animals to point out. And our boat captain Harry was the best. So helpful, fun and even rounded up some dolphins for us on the surface to make our dive even more magical. Resort The entire resort staff is incredible and attentive. Shawn and Iris at the front desk were so friendly and made the vacation a smooth one. The bartender Fidel made the yummiest drinks. The food was delicious and plentiful. You definitely don’t go hungry on the island. Don’t forget to book a spa appointment too! We had some of the best massages ever on the island.

  This is the perfect spot for diving! I loved everything about this resort. Once u arrive u worry about nothing! We had a great time diving with Hilario. Even got the chance to see a hammer head. This is great for everyone including solo travel Trip was August 2024 ❣️

  Perfect place to go and relax. The service is impeccable. Plenty of things to do scuba,fishing,sailing, sea kayak. Food is served at a common dining room and is excellent.

  My wife and I were at Turneffe Island Resort the first week in July for a 4 night stay. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations, especially the diving. We would not hesitate to go back again. Most of the other people at the resort while we were there we on repeat trips. That speaks volumes about this place.

  Turnefe Island Reef Resort is the ideal getaway spot for vacation. The island is private, quiet and secluded. The entire staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The Island is well maintained and the three meals a day fresh, delicious and varied. The diving operators are first rate. Each tank has an excess of 3000 psi, the dice sites are nearby and the water clear with diverse aquatic life. I've been a guest here on five prior occasions and expect to return again soon. Turneffe is a place to unwind, and decompress from the realities of home life. Read a book, soak up the sun, enjoy island drinks, jump in the water or make new friends at Turneffe. The place and experience is absolutely outstanding!!! John Hand ✋️
