  A very romantic, isolated getaway from the predominantly tourist-ridden bars and hangouts. Owner and staff were very nice and helpful -- our shower's hot water didn't work when we arrived and it was fixed very promptly. The room only has fans, so if you depend on AC, you'll have to adjust. All in all very comfortable and a beautiful spot. The food at the French bakery/restaurant on the property wasn't anything to write home about, but you're staying there for the room, remember!

  Incredibly romantic, hidden, secluded garden cocoon. Appropriately named. Sometimes you travel and the room will be a good a memory for a long time to come. Nestled in a garden with a French bakery. Waking up to good coffee and fresh croissants is a big bonus! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights of blissful island sleep. The iguanas start talking by night, increasing the ambiance. Sleeping under the sacred Ceiba tree of the Maya, the only one on the island, what more can one ask for while traveling in this land.
