  2/2/24 ggl Friday evening snack We three middle aged guys from London were staying locally in an Abnb guest house. Our hostess took us to a local cevicheria for a snack and told us about this interesting street food shack set up by Equadorian refugees. We were with another guest from England too. We five arrived about 18:20, in the dark, too find a simple shack with undercover seating beside it. We took a table and were presented with condiments. The menu was in the wall. We chose a variety of cheap snacks. As we had just had some beers in the cevicheria we three shared a Chicarojuice (2.5). The dishes came in good time and were very different and tasty. Served on a chins plate with a metal fork they were between 2 and 3 belizean dollars each (ca £1). We had Mora, Frijol and ended up spending 19:50 on them as they were so good, served with a bit of shredded cabbage. We left at around 7 very happy sated. At the guest house I looked it up on TA to no avail but it was on gglmps and rated highly, deservedly so.

  Best cheese pupusas in town. Try the loroco ones, full of flavor. Definitely recommended.
