::This place was located on the mahogany bay resort. It was kind of small, but the food was very good, so good that someone stole our leftovers out of the cart. A testament to how good it really was. But anyway, I had garlic ramen, and my husband had spicy ramen. They both were delicious. They also had sushi.

::We had an absolutely amazing experience at JYOTO Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a touch of elegance that made it feel special. The sushi was phenomenal—fresh, expertly crafted, and full of flavor. Each roll was prepared with care, and we could truly taste the authenticity in every bite. The Japanese chef ensures every dish is made with precision, making it one of the best sushi spots in Belize. Beyond sushi, We tried the ramen and seafood dishes, and they were just as impressive! The flavors were rich, and the ingredients were top quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations and making sure everything was perfect. We also loved the ambiance—it’s perfect whether you're enjoying a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion. The attention to detail in the decor adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in San Pedro, I highly recommend JYOTO! I’ll definitely be back for more.

::I was a guest at Mahogany Bay and decided to grab some sushi. JYOTO did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and the dishes creative. Definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Ambergris Cay.

::This is truthfully a 4.5 star experience and I'll share why. Most of the sushi was excellent. Only the tuna nigiri and sashimi were just average. The specialty rolls were delicious especially the fire dragon roll and my daughter said the avacado rolls were the best she has ever had. The ceviche roll was excellent too. Make sure you get the pork bun and the chewy chicken bun to start. I could eat a whole plate of them! My daughter also had the Ramen and it seemed very authentic with pork and a peanut sauce. Tasty! The fried chicken with yum yum sauce was so good as well. Not good things were it took a little while to get our food and the wine glasses smelled fishy maybe due to the dishwater they use. Skip the cheesecake, it was not good. The owner who is from Japan came to our table and thanked us. It is clear he has invested a lot in the restaurant and bringing quality sushi to Ambergis so he should be lauded for that! The sushi style and presentation is classy and professional so you know that he is running a great establishment. I would definitely eat here again.

::It was nothing to brag about but I guess for a island in Belize it wasn’t to bad. The rolls were warm, we are use to eating cool or cold sushi. Edamame was good, soy sauce tasted old, rolls were tasty, a bit pricey. All and all we were happy with the outcome. JOE, was awesome. I WOULD RECOMMEND
