  We spent a week at the Honeymoon Cabana and had a wonderful time! As many other reviewers have said, we were literally just steps away from the Caribbean Sea which was warm and lovely. Some mornings we took our delicious breakfast on our verandah looking out at the water and birds, enjoying the morning breeze. I felt myself really relaxing and slowing down. We loved being in the heart of the village where we could experience the local people and their way of life. Leslie and Will were incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. Yes, there was noise some nights from Ella's next door but I sleep with earplugs so it didn't bother me. My boyfriend said the noise of the waves was loud enough that Ella's didn't keep him awake. We also brought a small noise machine to use if needed. He only used it one night and only for a couple of hours. We highly recommend Hopkins Inn!

  We stayed for a week in the Honeymoon Cabana at Hopkins Inn over Thanksgiving and had such a lovely time. The natural beauty is breathtaking. Looking out from the porch, I felt like we had somehow stumbled into the pattern of a Hawaiian shirt. The room was even prettier than it looked on the website and the sea breezes kept it at a comfortable temperature the whole time we were there. The Honeymoon and Anniversary cabanas have completely unobstructed views of the Caribbean. Leslie and Will couldn't have been more friendly and considerate, taking time to chat and show us around. They had great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Culturally, Hopkins was a really interesting place to visit and felt safe to explore even at night. We had many delicious meals, including mixed drinks, and somehow managed to lose weight because the food is so healthy and fresh. We were very glad we chose to stay in the middle of the town rather than in one of the resorts where we would have been more isolated. Just a couple of tips: 1. There's a noisy bar next door that sometimes has karaoke or other music into the wee hours so be ready to use the provided ear plugs for sleeping. The Honeymoon Cabana was closest to the noise but I'd still pick that one because the location and layout are extra beautiful and the shower is amazing. 2. Don't miss the chance to try the on-sight spa. Maybe it was the real wave sounds and sea breezes wafting into the room but I had one of the most relaxing massages of my life. 3. When planning your trip, don't hesitate to contact Leslie for help with logistics. She's super responsive by email and shares up-to-date information on transportation and tour options.

  What a great place to stay in Hopkins! You cannot beat the location, rooms, view, or the super friendly hosts. The location is perfectly located in center of town with lots of restaurants and activities nearby. We walked everywhere we went. Our cabanas/beds were clean and very comfortable - plus being just feet from the Caribbean, how can you beat the view? The breakfast was simple but very delicious with fresh pastries/breads and local fresh fruit. The grounds were clean and they had lots of plenty of hammocks to relax in. The hosts know everything there is to know about Hopkins and are a wealth of useful information. We enjoyed chatting with them every day and all of their advice was spot-on. While some might have issues with no AC and music playing from nearby bars late at night - but it did not bother us at all. This turned out to be our favorite hotel of our entire trip.

  We had an amazing stay at the Hopkins Inn. Will and Leslie were amazing hosts. Each morning they provided fresh fruit, fresh pastries, and juice on our porch and they ended our evenings with a nice mixed drink and chatted. They provided extremely helpful knowledge and recommendations making our travels much easier. They really went above and beyond our expectations. The property is beautiful and very clean. We used the kayak and paddled out to the lagoon and they had various other floats available for use. Overall it was a fantastic stay with great people.

  Really enjoyed the stay here. The rooms are very clean, plenty of amenities, and well kept grounds. The owners were present during out stay and were very friendly and helpful with information regarding Hopkins. We were provided with an excellent cocktail during happy hour, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. There is a lot of noise in the surrounding area, but that is not the fault of the Inn itself. Nothing ear plugs and a running fan can't fix. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a charming place to stay in Hopkins.
