::Beautiful! We loved our stay, great for birdwatching, laying in the hammock and truly relaxing.

::Came down early for some birding and breakfast afterwards. After an hour of birding and 62 species of birds, I enjoyed a wholesome breakfast and the best views. The Lodge recently re-opened after the flooding which affected the entire community, there is still some ongoing cleanup but itβs open for business.

::Excellent lodging for an outstanding birding location. Owners are friendly and so are their doggos. Saw 44 species of birds in two mornings during the off season (June) - bird guide Robert is a gem. Food was excellent too. Only downside: windows in my room weren't screened so the mosquitos were a major issue overnight. But anyway if you want to stay somewhere nice and eat well while gawking at birds all day, this is your place.

::We had a very pleasant time at Crooked Tree Lodge. It is quiet and peaceful and the owners are charming people who help organize your visit. Since the bar is closed, don't forget to bring your own bottle if you want to enjoy a drink by the lagoon.

::Crooked Tree Lodge is comfortable and clean with a homey atmosphere. Mick and Angie are warm and friendly hosts. They care about making guests feel welcomed. The dining area is beautifully decorated and food is creatively prepared and delicious. The local staff is attentive and helpful to needs of the guests. I was their on a birding tour with Naturalist Journeys for two nights. The grounds and proximity to water lent itself to seeing and hearing birds from boat and land. You will love this place.
